Sophia Kurani is a current Senior in high school. She grew up in Irvine, CA where she began pursuing her interests as an artist. Her first debut as a performer was in Southland Ballet Academy's production of the Nutracker where she played the role of a Little Party Girl at the Barclay Theater. She then pursured her interest for singing where she performed with 3 time Emmy award winning choir, Southern California Childrens Chorus, in American Ballet Theatre's performance of the Nutcracker at Segerstrom Center, and a highlight performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Once she began high school, she transitioned into her passion for theatre where she began designing costumes and stage managing. She quickly realized she enjoys the behind the scenes of performing arts because she is able to showcase her creativity in multiple aspects. In her down time, she often finds herself working in other mediums including ceramics and photography.
